Before yard party 2017, on one of our nightly walks, we saw someone giving away a few fence panels for free.  So, I enlisted the help of Mike and his pickup truck to fetch them, then built a potting bench, and put a roof over the wood pile.  Surprisingly the roof works very well.  And the potting bench was a drink stand during the party, and is a very nice addition to the patio.
