9.6.14 – 9.7.14<\/p>\n

Jay kindly organized and orchestrated a canoe trip. \u00a0We floated from Central City down to Stone City…the General Store 2 weekends in a row, excellent.<\/p>\n

Day 1 :: Saturday :: Central City, IA – some sandbar<\/strong><\/p>\n

We woke up, met @ Jay’s and headed to Central City. \u00a0Met Cabel on the way at Stone City, where we staged a couple of cars.<\/p>\n

A good day ensued. \u00a0Red fell in no less that 3 times.<\/p>\n

Stopped at F&B Co bar in Waubeek for lunch and beers.<\/p>\n

Overnighted on a sandbar.<\/p>\n

Day 2 :: Sunday :: some sandbar – Stone City, IA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Woke, enjoyed some breakfast, and packed up to head downstream. \u00a0Short trip, so had plenty of time for stops and breaks on the way. \u00a0Upon arrival at the General Store<\/a>\u00a0I promptly took a nap.<\/p>\n
