Jay organized a canoe trip on the Wisconsin River, to celebrate his 50th birthday, from Sauc City to Spring Green.  Headed up after work on Friday to camp at Tower Hill State Park, then met everyone else at the canoe rental place Saturday morning.  On the river by noon.  Nice day of casual paddling; I discovered that our camera does not, in fact, float despite a woefully inadequate floating keychain, followed by an adventurous overnight on a sandbar (it stormed, many were wet, some were dry, the water made its way partially onto our sandbar).  Weather cleared up, and we had a nice Sunday paddle to finish our river trip out.

On the way home, we caught Tallest Man on Earth at Codfish Hollow.  Much fun made for an exhausted Monday.
